UAE:
Future Synthetics (Middle East) FZC is the largest dedicated wire rope and rigging facility in the Middle East and was established in 2010 in the Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZ) in Sharjah, U.A.E. The facility covers an area of 10,000 square meters and operates a 1,000MT test bed (TUV calibrated), heavy lift manufacturing and lay down area, grommet and general sling production area and machinery, wire rope reel storage and a covered warehouse facility. The facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified and has received accreditation by the Dubai Accreditation Department (DAC) for the testing and examination of lifting equipment and accessories to ISO/IEC17020.
Malaysia:
Future Synthetics Sdn Bhd is located at Tanjung Langsat in the Iskandar development area in the state of Johor Bahru, about 45 km by road from Tuas, Singapore. The rigging facility occupies an area of 14,000 square meters and is strategically located near to the major wharf in Tanjung Langsat.
Once operational (scheduled for second quarter 2014), Future Synthetics Sdn Bhd will operate a 3,000MT test bed (DNV calibrated), heavy lift manufacturing and lay down area, grommet and general sling production area and machinery, wire rope reel storage and a covered warehouse facility. The Malaysian operation will offer the same range of products and services as Future Synthetics Pte Ltd.
Singapore:
Located in Tuas in the industrial area of the island, Future Synthetics Pte Ltd operates one of the largest rigging facilities in the world covering 28,000 square meters. The facilities include a 2,000MT test bed (DNV calibrated), heavy lift manufacturing and lay down area, grommet and general sling production area and machinery, wire rope reel storage and a covered warehouse facility. The facility is ISO 9001: 2008 certified.
Future Synthetics Pte Ltd is also the groups R&D center for synthetic sling and grommet development and production.
Indonesia:
PT. Future Synthetics Indonesia operates a sales office and service facility on the island of Jakarta and offers a range of technical services to our customers who are either located in or have projects mobilizing from Indonesia. The scope of work offered by PT. Future Synthetics Indonesia is as follows:
- Sales support and marketing to the Indonesian market
- Constant tension spooling for reels up to 300MT in weight
- On-board inspection and recertification of rigging equipment
- EMAG wire rope inspection up to 170mm diameter
- Installation and reeving of crane rope
